"Good Morning Students – How are you all doing?

Considering the mounting tension because of your approaching exams, I as your class teacher wish to tell you that it’s important to stay calm and laugh your heart out sometime in order to combat your anxiety and stress level. Tell me, when did you have a roaring laughter last time? May be hard to remember, right! It’s because these times have become so demanding both physically and mentally that we have forgotten to smile perhaps. When we get up early in the morning, we have tasks in our list to attempt, but we forget that very important task which makes up our whole being and fills it with energy and vigor is laughter.

Therefore, it is rightly said that laughter is the best medicine. Medicine here doesn’t literally mean medicine, but something which carries medicinal properties. We take medicines to heal our bodily ailments and recover from that state; this is what laughter does to us. It helps ease our stress level and aid in the speedy recovery of our health. Laughter acts as a powerful antidote to combat pain and stress. Laughter is magical in itself and works much faster in order to bring our body and mind back to a balanced state. Humor relaxes our brain, stirs hope and helps us stay focused and connected with others.

And the best part is that it doesn’t require any investment or much effort from our side. Having so much power to cure and regenerate one’s soul; the capability to laugh easily often prove to be of tremendous help for overcoming problems, improving our equation with others as well as overall emotional and physical state of being. Laughter aids in improving the function of your blood vessels and boosts the flow of blood in your body, which in turn helps in protecting you against heart diseases as well as other cardiovascular diseases.

The best part is that laughter is contagious. So if that laughter is shared with the people around, its doses get multiplied. Thus, you are in a better position to build long-lasting relationships. Any sort of emotional sharing builds healthy and strong bonds and also multiples our joy as well as vitality.

Haven’t you heard of the statement given by Charlie Chaplin, “a day without laughter is a day wasted”? Laughter is believed to bring down the level of stress and even pain, enhance the resistance of our body to fight against diseases, augment our blood flow and improve the function of blood vessels, which in turn provides us protection against cardiovascular problems as well as various heart diseases. Believe it or not, laughter can even help us burn down our calories.

Therefore with so much to gain from laughter, you all should adopt this therapy and experience the wonders that unfold. You all should take it easy and prepare for your exams with a calm and relax mind and everything will fall into place. And of course, never forget to laugh heartily!

Thank You!
