Afterward the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, "Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great."

"I will send my terror upon all the people whose lands you invade, and they will panic before you.

You must fear the Lord your God and worship him and cling to him. Your oaths must be in his name alone.
