love
(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.) Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
